Organic thermal fuses
The Organic Thermal Cut Off (OTCO) is a non-resettable protective device that only works once. It mainly consists of a metal housing, a spring, a sliding contact and a thermal pellet. When the OTCO senses abnormal heat and the temperature reaches the predetermined trip temperature, the thermal pellet melts and the sliding contact separates from the insulated conductor with the help of the trip spring, interrupting the circuit.
The OTCO has a tripping temperature of 50 °C to 280 °C and a rated current of 10A to 25A. Safety certifications include UL, cUL, PSE, VDE, KC, CCC and the product complies with RoHS and REACH directives.
