The ST01 A U5 is a circuit breaker from the ST01 series with a power class of 1.6 A to 7.5 A. It is closed as standard, resets automatically and is equipped with connection cables and transparent PET cap insulation.
PRODUCT LAUNCH
The ST01 A U5 consists of a robust construction with a ceramic cover plate, a fixed silver contact, a movable contact, a cross-shaped spring washer and a conductive housing.
STRUCTURE AND FUNCTION
The bimetallic disk is deformed by heat when the rated operating temperature is reached and snaps back to break the circuit. After cooling down and reaching the defined reset temperature, the bimetal disk and the spring washer return to their initial position. This closes the moving contact and the fixed silver contact again and the circuit is restored.
