FAQ: Is the PTC series also available in SMD design (SOT23)?
The PTC series is not available in SOT23 design and is not being developed.
As an SMD alternative to the KTY82, we offer our CRFC series, which has a different characteristic, but is significantly better in terms of temperature range, long-term stability, accuracy and response time. In addition, the CRFC series is cost-optimized.
The Alpha Therm PTC-2000 series is an outstanding alternative to NXP’s KTY series silicon temperature sensors. It provides a reliable solution for precise temperature measurement and control in a wide range of applications. With different models, nominal resistances and tolerances, these sensors are ideal for industrial use.
